Happy Valentine's Day Cards.......

Hi everyone I'm Lisa and welcome back.  I have been spending the last couple of days putting together some Valentine's Day cards.  I seem to have lost track of time since vacation, so I am a little behind.  Well here it goes three cards in one post.  This 1st card I just love, a baby Ice Cream and a mama Ice Cream.

This card is 4.25 x 5.0 / 1st layer is white 2nd layer is black and 3rd layer is dark red.

I put two sentiments on this card one Happy Valentines Day and My Mom's the Sweetest which I did on the Cricut Explore.
The Ice Creams are colored with Alcohol markers.  I added some black glitter to the baby and red to the mama.  The Cherry on top was done with Glossy Accents.

I used a small strip of washi  Tape.

Now for my 2nd card I have done a card with Cereal and Milk. I love these little stamps because of the faces, it make them have such personality.

This card is 4.25 x 5.0 / 1st layer is white 2nd layer is light red and 3rd layer is dark red.

I used some washi tape on the side, and at that tip with the Sentiment I put 3 hearts covered with Red glitter.

On the bowl of cereal and milk I colored with alcohol markers and  I put two little stars as the cheeks, on the cereal and milk I put glitter to give it some shine.

Now for my 3rd card I tried something new and really like the way it turned out.  I started with the inside on this card. The inside is stamped with the two balloons, the sky and clouds in the background.
I colored the Balloons with alcohol markers and did the sky with a light blue watercolor crayons.

I used a circle die cut and cut the center out of the card so that the two hearts are showing.  I then used some cloth trim to go around the circle to give the card that little extra something.

I used some red flowers with a gold bow and a Love Sentiment.

I hope you like these three cards as much as I love doing them.  If you have any questions please let me know and Happy Crafting.

"Hebrews" Coffee Card ( Skipping Stones Design ) Oct 16th Blog Hop

Hi everyone and welcome to Skipping Stones Design's October blog hop.  For my card I have decided to use the Coffee stamp #2 .  I colored the coffee cup with Spectrum Noir Alcohol markers .  This is a Digi stamp so after printing I did wait 24hr before coloring with the Alcohol markers to make sure the ink is completely dry, so I do not have any mixing of the printer ink with the alcohol marker colors.  I had a great time creating this card.  Please scroll down for pictures, supplies (  link's ),  a how toooooo, and a tutorial at the end.  Make sure you visit the links below to see other cards made by Skipping Stones Design Team.  Please make sure to leave a comments on everyones creations, let them know how much you like the designs they have created. Working with the Gemini Apple Core Dies

Tips for sewing Apple Core Shapes.....  This will go on Sale on HSN January 24th., they will go fast make sure you get yours. 1st you will have one that will go sideways which is the Con-Caved Core and you will have one the will be long ways.   You always want the con-caved Apple Core on top when sewing together.   So my Con-caved apple core is the red strips, fold in half  and press a seam.  The yellow one fold in half long ways and press. Put right sides together and place the pressed seam on top one an other and pin.  This is very important to sew straight. Now match up and pin both outside corners.  The fabric will be buckled like the picture and that is fine.   It should look like this when taking to the sewing machine.  Below is a little video on sewing Apple Core Shapes.
