You Make my Heart Flutter ( A&M Memories ) 12/24/17

Hi everyone, I am Lisa and I will be doing a card today with a Sentiment that could be used for Valentines Day or any day of the year.  This Stamp and Sentiment is from A & M Memories Designs and the Masquerade Ball .   She is so beautiful and when making her I was thinking she needs some glitter..... Glitter makes everything better!!!!!!!   If you would like to try your hand at this beautiful lady yourself go to    A & M Memories and  use this code LISAA15 to get 15% off + mention LISAA in the comments too. .   I used Stickles Silver, gold, and red glitter from my stash.  I put this down with a very thin paint brush.  Now the was an experiment, after the glitter was down I did not think it was bright enough, so I did go over with some color later. The glitter looks OK but not fancy enough for this little lady. I colored the skin with Spectrum Noir Alcohol markers. and the dress I used Prisma Color Pencils.  I am trying to use Pencils more and m

Christmas Star ( SSD ) December 19,17

Hi everyone this is Lisa how is the Christmas Shopping going?  Are you Done? Hope so because we sure are running out of time.  This week I did get this Christmas Swirl 2 Card finished and wanted to share with you. I used my  Cricut   to help with this card.  I wanted to do the back ground as one of the layers filled with stars. Using your Cricut is very easy.  You just upload your image into your  Cricut  program and duplicate images, you can also make the images any size.  This works great if you have the digi file.  If you would like to do this with a stamp set that you have, just stamp out on paper and scan into you computer, you will need to make the file a jep. file for the cricut. With the big star I covered it with Metallic Lustre .  Now you can get this in different metal colors.  I love it.  It can also be used on the edge of cards to give it an aged look. I took the base of the card that has the stars on it and gave it some color.  I used Sta

Happy New Year A&M Memories ( December 17th)

Hello and welcome back, I am Lisa and today I am going to be making a New Years card.   Can you believe in a couple of weeks it is going to be 2018.  The older you get the faster time flies by, it is crazy.  Today I am using a Digital Stamp from A&M Memories . I love A&M Memories stamps.  The faces on these ladies are great. Take a regular size card stock score down the center and fold.  Now when I say regular it is whatever size you want your card to be.  That is one of the problems with card making, we are always so worried about correct measures meant.  Well I am saying don't.  Now whatever size you make you base the next card stock that goes on top you just make sure some of the base is showing, and that can be 1/8 or 1/4 all the way around.  I usually put this layer sticking up with foam tape but I am going to add height on the figure.    I wanted to keep it winter themed so I use snow flake Washi tap.  I also used some diamond embellishm
