Elf Queen Sparkle / Swirl with Happiness ( A&M Memories ) Video

Hi everyone and welcome back, I am Lisa hope all is well.  I have two cards to share with you.  Both cards are done with A&M Memories stamps .  I did a coloring video on the Elf Queen Sparkle card, so I could share a couple of my techniques.  These tips are what I found work for me.   Crafters Companion Smooth Card Stock             This is a cut outs of a gift with gems inside to make it a shaker.  I did not like that the burlap did not have any color so I used the  Spectrum Noir Sparkle Markers  to give it a little color. This is the base card measures 4 x 5 1/2.   This is the top layer of the card this measures 3.75 x 5.25., and I used foam tape to adhere to the base of the card. This is the gift with the  Spectrum Noir Sparkle Markers . This is the washi tape I used for additional color to the card. I added the sentiment to the card and it had some hang over on the card, just cut so that it is even with the card. Adh

Green Birthday ( Skipping Stones Design ) 11-21-17

Hello and welcome back, I hope you are doing well and getting ready for Thanksgiving.  I have two birthdays in the month of November, my husband Bob ( a Big Happy Birthday to my King ) and my 1st born Jessica who was born on the same day as her father ( a Big Happy Birthday toooooo you ). So needless to say I am busy making Birthday Cards.  Today I am working with the Green Birthday stamp .  This stamp set has some funny sayings, and I love working with stamp sets like this because it is almost anything goes.  I have a card base that measures 4 x 5 1/2, and a layer that measures 3.50 x 5.  I took the topper and stamp the recycle symbol all over the background. I then colored the cup cake with Spectrum Noir Sparkle Markers. After looking at everything I decided to put a piece of green card stock behind the recycled topper, so the card has a base  plain green background 3.75 x 5.25 and then the recycle topper. After I got finished with the sentiments I wanted them

Happy Thanksgiving ( A&M Memories ) November 11, 2017

Hi everyone and welcome back, I am Lisa, I hope everyone is doing well and getting ready for Turkey Day?  I have made this wonderful Happy Thanksgiving Card  for your enjoyment. With this card I used my  Cricut Explore Air 2 .  It is very easy to upload your digital stamps into the Cricut This is the layout that I created for this card.  I will give you a little hint, it is easier to color your  digital image before you cut it with the Cricut.  I colored the Pilgrim with  Spectrum Noir Alcohol markers  I also used some  Spectrum Noir Sparkle Markers  for her hair, eyes, and the Turkey as you can see below. I have choosen this dark yellow card stock for the background to the leaf card stock. I used  Foam Tape  to hold all the layers together.  I had some fall ribbon and cord that I added to the leaf layer and wrapped it around the back so you could not see the ends.  With the cord I put a little  Open knot for decoration.

Christmas Swirl ( Nov 7th ) Skipping Stones Design

Hi everyone, hope all is well in the crafting world.  Today I have completed a card using the Christmas Swirl stamp .  This stamp set is so cute and the only colors i used was for the back ground on the card and the sentiment.  I did something a little different with this card.  I tried to use more than one stamped sentiment out of the pack.  I used one of the main sentiment ( May this season bring you peace joy and laughter ) and I also used the Joy and Peace.  So lets take a look. Now I could have done the whole background with the Joy & Peace but I wanted to give it a different look with just a half corner done with it.  This way I think everything is in the spot light .  The little bird was just toooooo pretty to have the busy words behind it. I used a white card stock card base and stamped the Joy and Peace on one corner. I than took a Ranger blending tool and laid down some Watermelon color ink.  I did not want the color to over  power the card so I did the Wat
