HSN August 16th Crafting Event

Hi again and welcome.  I am so very happy to come back and tell everyone that Crafter's Companion  Spectrum Noir will have the Today's Special on HSN August 16th.  First let me say I am so blessed to be apart of this great Design Team it is wonderful to be a part of a company that you LOVE, that being said  we all have been hard at work putting together samples to give a small glimpse of what you can make.

Second thing on the list let me mention that the Gemini will be back on HSN, now that being said if you are thinking about getting it make up your minds before August 16th, because they will and always do sell out.  Now lets get to the Today Special, it is amazing and you get some many items.   If you have been thinking about trying your hand at watercolouring this is the package to get and it is on Auto ship!!!!!  Take my word for it, go ahead and select the Auto ship on this one because you are going to Love these items, and this is great for the beginner card maker.  Take a look at Sara Davies video that she did on the Today's Special.

Now that you have seen the Today's Special let me show you a couple of the samples I have created.  I hope you Love them as much as I do.

Happy Thanksgiving ( A&M Memories ) November 11, 2017

Hi everyone and welcome back, I am Lisa, I hope everyone is doing well and getting ready for Turkey Day?  I have made this wonderful Happy Thanksgiving Card for your enjoyment.

With this card I used my Cricut Explore Air 2.  It is very easy to upload your digital stamps into the Cricut This is the layout that I created for this card.  I will give you a little hint, it is easier to color your  digital image before you cut it with the Cricut.  I colored the Pilgrim with Spectrum Noir Alcohol markers I also used some Spectrum Noir Sparkle Markers for her hair, eyes, and the Turkey as you can see below. I have choosen this dark yellow card stock for the background to the leaf card stock. I used Foam Tape to hold all the layers together.  I had some fall ribbon and cord that I added to the leaf layer and wrapped it around the back so you could not see the ends.  With the cord I put a little  Open knot for decoration.

"Hebrews" Coffee Card ( Skipping Stones Design ) Oct 16th Blog Hop

Hi everyone and welcome to Skipping Stones Design's October blog hop.  For my card I have decided to use the Coffee stamp #2.  I colored the coffee cup with Spectrum Noir Alcohol markers.  This is a Digi stamp so after printing I did wait 24hr before coloring with the Alcohol markers to make sure the ink is completely dry, so I do not have any mixing of the printer ink with the alcohol marker colors.  I had a great time creating this card.  Please scroll down for pictures, supplies (  link's ),  a how toooooo, and a tutorial at the end.  Make sure you visit the links below to see other cards made by Skipping Stones Design Team.  Please make sure to leave a comments on everyones creations, let them know how much you like the designs they have created.

Simon Says Wednesday: Anything Goes

Simon Says Anything Goes Challenge

I love when you start a card thinking it will be one thing and it turns into something completely different, so needless to say the pictures that I did take as I went along don't match.  I got so into what I was doing I stopped taking pictures lol.....  When I started I wanted to do a lady bug card, not sure how it turned into a turtle but it did and I Love it.  The back ground I sponge with Tim Holtz Distress ink Broken China.  I then used a circle scalloped to do the shaker part of the card.  I stamped and colored the turtle with Spectrum Noir Makers.  The stamp is a turtle carrying a present but I changed it to a pot of planted hearts with twine around it.  I then used vellum for the sentiment.

This card is entered in the       Simon Says Wednesday Anything Goes Challenge
