Crafter's Companion Box ( video )
Welcome everyone, I am back from Vacation and ready to craft. When I returned I had a Crafter's Companion Box waiting for me ( Happy Dance ). I tried something new this time, did a video on the items so you can see. These items will be on HSN on July 11th along with others, so if you like something you see please tune into HSN . Please remember to order fast because I am sure we will have some sell outs ( as always ). I will also be doing a couple of Blogs with the new items.
I love when you start a card thinking it will be one thing and it turns into something completely different, so needless to say the pictures that I did take as I went along don't match. I got so into what I was doing I stopped taking pictures lol..... When I started I wanted to do a lady bug card, not sure how it turned into a turtle but it did and I Love it. The back ground I sponge with Tim Holtz Distress ink Broken China. I then used a circle scalloped to do the shaker part of the card. I stamped and colored the turtle with Spectrum Noir Makers. The stamp is a turtle carrying a present but I changed it to a pot of planted hearts with twine around it. I then used vellum for the sentiment.

This is the layout that I created for this card. I will give you a little hint, it is easier to color your digital image before you cut it with the Cricut. I colored the Pilgrim with Spectrum Noir Alcohol markers I also used some Spectrum Noir Sparkle Markers for her hair, eyes, and the Turkey as you can see below.
I have choosen this dark yellow card stock for the background to the leaf card stock.
I used Foam Tape to hold all the layers together. I had some fall ribbon and cord that I added to the leaf layer and wrapped it around the back so you could not see the ends. With the cord I put a little
Open knot for decoration.
Hi everyone and welcome to Skipping Stones Design's October blog hop. For my card I have decided to use the Coffee stamp #2. I colored the coffee cup with Spectrum Noir Alcohol markers. This is a Digi stamp so after printing I did wait 24hr before coloring with the Alcohol markers to make sure the ink is completely dry, so I do not have any mixing of the printer ink with the alcohol marker colors. I had a great time creating this card. Please scroll down for pictures, supplies ( link's ), a how toooooo, and a tutorial at the end.
