Crafting Weekend ( TIME TO MAKE THE GIFTS )

Well it is almost that time, and this time of year I really getting into my crafting.  Time to make the GIFTS.  It is a couple of days before Thanksgiving, my husband is putting the finishing touches on the outside house decorations, and I am trying to figure out what to make to give to the kids that come to see Santa.  Yes Santa comes to our house and sits outside 1 night a week in December for the kids.  When they get out of their car they can come and set on Santa's lap and tell him what they want for Christmas while enjoying the Christmas light show with the decorations that are outside.   This is the best time of the year for me and my husband.   He starts Decorating the day after Halloween!!!!!!!I will post some pictures and maybe some videos when people visit.  But anyway I have to think of something to do for the kiddies.  I do have a couple of pictures I would love to share before getting on that project.  I have finished my M&M Christmas ornaments and they turned out awesome, along with my Frosted Winter glass block light, which is great as well.  These items I made for myself  but if you would like to purchase I will take orders.  Thanks so much and Happy Crafting.

Simon Says Wednesday: Anything Goes

Simon Says Anything Goes Challenge

I love when you start a card thinking it will be one thing and it turns into something completely different, so needless to say the pictures that I did take as I went along don't match.  I got so into what I was doing I stopped taking pictures lol.....  When I started I wanted to do a lady bug card, not sure how it turned into a turtle but it did and I Love it.  The back ground I sponge with Tim Holtz Distress ink Broken China.  I then used a circle scalloped to do the shaker part of the card.  I stamped and colored the turtle with Spectrum Noir Makers.  The stamp is a turtle carrying a present but I changed it to a pot of planted hearts with twine around it.  I then used vellum for the sentiment.

Happy Thanksgiving ( A&M Memories ) November 11, 2017

Hi everyone and welcome back, I am Lisa, I hope everyone is doing well and getting ready for Turkey Day?  I have made this wonderful Happy Thanksgiving Card for your enjoyment.

With this card I used my Cricut Explore Air 2.  It is very easy to upload your digital stamps into the Cricut This is the layout that I created for this card.  I will give you a little hint, it is easier to color your  digital image before you cut it with the Cricut.  I colored the Pilgrim with Spectrum Noir Alcohol markers I also used some Spectrum Noir Sparkle Markers for her hair, eyes, and the Turkey as you can see below. I have choosen this dark yellow card stock for the background to the leaf card stock. I used Foam Tape to hold all the layers together.  I had some fall ribbon and cord that I added to the leaf layer and wrapped it around the back so you could not see the ends.  With the cord I put a little  Open knot for decoration.

"Hebrews" Coffee Card ( Skipping Stones Design ) Oct 16th Blog Hop

Hi everyone and welcome to Skipping Stones Design's October blog hop.  For my card I have decided to use the Coffee stamp #2.  I colored the coffee cup with Spectrum Noir Alcohol markers.  This is a Digi stamp so after printing I did wait 24hr before coloring with the Alcohol markers to make sure the ink is completely dry, so I do not have any mixing of the printer ink with the alcohol marker colors.  I had a great time creating this card.  Please scroll down for pictures, supplies (  link's ),  a how toooooo, and a tutorial at the end.  Make sure you visit the links below to see other cards made by Skipping Stones Design Team.  Please make sure to leave a comments on everyones creations, let them know how much you like the designs they have created.
