Just a Note to Say (Skipping Stone Designs) 1/2/18

Happy New Year everyone!!!!! Welcome back this is Lisa and I am going to do a Birthday card.  I am using a Butterfly Stamp and a Sentiment from Skipping Stone Designs called Heart Song.  I used my Cricut to help out with this card just a little, because this is a digital file and it is very easy to use your Cricut.  I cut two of the big Butterfly for a shadow effect. I used the Cricut to take the music notes and Duplicated them to fill the page.  This is the top layer to the base of the card.  This measures 3.75 x 5.25.  The base of the card will be 4.00 x 5.50. I wanted to use a very lite color to sponge across the whole top layer of the card.  I wanted an antique look because I am adding the Rose gold Metallic Luster. I took my finger and put the Luster only on the edge of the butterflies. I also took some of the Luster Dust and applied to the Sentiment, it will go on very dark, so just take a baby wipe and take of enoug...

Christmas Star ( SSD ) December 19,17

Hi everyone this is Lisa how is the Christmas Shopping going?  Are you Done? Hope so because we sure are running out of time.  This week I did get this Christmas Swirl 2 Card finished and wanted to share with you. I used my  Cricut   to help with this card.  I wanted to do the back ground as one of the layers filled with stars. Using your Cricut is very easy.  You just upload your image into your  Cricut  program and duplicate images, you can also make the images any size.  This works great if you have the digi file.  If you would like to do this with a stamp set that you have, just stamp out on paper and scan into you computer, you will need to make the file a jep. file for the cricut. With the big star I covered it with Metallic Lustre .  Now you can get this in different metal colors.  I love it.  It can also be used on the edge of cards to give it an aged look. I took the base of the c...
