Happy Crafting with Lisa

Hi everyone and welcome back, my name is Lisa and today I am using the Fisherman  stamp set.  This is a stamp that has funny sentiments and can be used for a men or women.  I love the funny Sentiment stamp sets because anything goes with these.  Today I used the Recollections card stock that is already cut and scored for you and has the envelopes. This is great for new or 1st time card markers.  Used this as my base of the card. This is Tim Holtz & Ranger Distress Collection and I think it my be discontinued, I got this off a a clearance rack at Joann's . I used this for the waves and top layer of the card This is Recollections Watercolor Crayons ( Spring Dream ) .  I used this for the waves to give them a white cap look. To give the fish lips some shine I used glossy accents ranger. Here is the white cap look on the waves it just makes the waves stand out more.  This Sentiment is a funny one it says. ...

Ok here we are for another great Challenge.  This one is Fantastic Florals Challenge, this is just in time for Spring.  Maybe it can start getting warm!  The challenge can be any kind of flowers stamped, handmade, store bought, whatever kind you want.  So here is my take on this Challenge.   I used regular card stock, and I did an ink resist of the flowers on the bottom and the birds up top.  I sponged Diamond Press Ink in green for the grass and sponged the sky in Ranger Tim Holtz's Stormy sky .  The stamp set and the Folder was a free gift when I purchased the magazine Simply Cards & Papercraft.  I love the tree embossing folder,  and stamps they beautiful. I will let you know I had a little problem with the Stamps and I had to re-ink it over a couple of times.   I then Colored the tree with Spectrum Noir markers .  I just followed the embossed lines from the folder. Valentines Day is getting close we need to get those cards made. This is a Card that I made with Spectrum Noir Aqua Markers , which are Great. I used colors Yellow, Gold, and Orange, I first put some color down on my water color paper sprayed some water on the paper and did a blending of the three colors.   I took a tag with my Misty and stamp a  Be Mine Stamp on it.  The Misty is great to use because if you do not get a complete stamp the 1st time you can go back over with it to make it perfect.  After the  Be Mine Stamp dried I took a  Spectrum Noir Sparkle Markers and gave it a little shimmer.  After the water color paper was completely dry I stamped little be candy hearts all over, after dry I then put some Shimmer on with Spectrum Noir Sparkle Markers , I then place a hole in the center of  of the card with a hole punch and added my tag in place.
