Simon Says Wednesday: Anything Goes

Simon Says Anything Goes Challenge I love when you start a card thinking it will be one thing and it turns into something completely different, so needless to say the pictures that I did take as I went along don't match.  I got so into what I was doing I stopped taking pictures lol.....  When I started I wanted to do a lady bug card, not sure how it turned into a turtle but it did and I Love it.  The back ground I sponge with Tim Holtz Distress ink Broken China.  I then used a circle scalloped to do the shaker part of the card.  I stamped and colored the turtle with Spectrum Noir Makers.  The stamp is a turtle carrying a present but I changed it to a pot of planted hearts with twine around it.  I then used vellum for the sentiment. This card is entered in the       Simon Says Wednesday Anything Goes Challenge                                                                                                  Materials Used  Stamp Set

Let dry I then took a circle & die to make this a shaker card.  I then placed the Hot air Balloon stamp with black ink and added glitter for the string and colored with Spectrum Noir Pens . Wedneday Simon Says: Fantastic Florals

Ok here we are for another great Challenge.  This one is Fantastic Florals Challenge, this is just in time for Spring.  Maybe it can start getting warm!  The challenge can be any kind of flowers stamped, handmade, store bought, whatever kind you want.  So here is my take on this Challenge.   I used regular card stock, and I did an ink resist of the flowers on the bottom and the birds up top.  I sponged Diamond Press Ink in green for the grass and sponged the sky in Ranger Tim Holtz's Stormy sky .  The stamp set and the Folder was a free gift when I purchased the magazine Simply Cards & Papercraft.  I love the tree embossing folder,  and stamps they beautiful. I will let you know I had a little problem with the Stamps and I had to re-ink it over a couple of times.   I then Colored the tree with Spectrum Noir markers .  I just followed the embossed lines from the folder. I then took the die and cut out the little flowers for the tree.  After

Time out Chair

Well today I figured I would do a time out chair after seeing a couple on line.  They are being sold for a crazy amount and seem to be very popular.  I purchased a little stool at Ikea, just something very small for little one to sit on.  I used my cricut to cut out a clock image and a saying.  I had a lot of fun making this probably to much fun lol.  I am sure that the little ones will not have fun having a time out.   Very simple to do and great for beginners .

Cards ( Be Mine Valentines Day Card )

Valentines Day is getting close we need to get those cards made. This is a Card that I made with Spectrum Noir Aqua Markers , which are Great. I used colors Yellow, Gold, and Orange, I first put some color down on my water color paper sprayed some water on the paper and did a blending of the three colors.   I took a tag with my Misty and stamp a  Be Mine Stamp on it.  The Misty is great to use because if you do not get a complete stamp the 1st time you can go back over with it to make it perfect.  After the  Be Mine Stamp dried I took a  Spectrum Noir Sparkle Markers and gave it a little shimmer.  After the water color paper was completely dry I stamped little be candy hearts all over, after dry I then put some Shimmer on with Spectrum Noir Sparkle Markers , I then place a hole in the center of  of the card with a hole punch and added my tag in place.
