Happy Crafting with Lisa

I have some Exciting News, sorry it has been awhile, but I have been working on some very important items.  I have been put onto Crafters Companion Threaders Sewing Team.  Crafters Companion has expanded to the soft crafts.  Threaders will make it's debut on HSN on September 29th, so mark you calendars.  The soft crafts will be anything from Fabric and Thread to Pocket book kits and rolls of zipper ( that right ROLLS of Zipper).  So make sure you tune in for the 1st look at this line.  I have to say, I am on the team so I receive stuff before you can buy it, and it is Awesome.  I have been sewing for 15 years or so and it does not compare it is that good.   Make sure to come back and check our my blog within the next couple of days to see the items I have been making.

Just wanted to give everyone an update on HSN crafting event on Aug 16th, I have to say it was great as always.  This time around I had two card show up, both were on the wall behind the host and I have to say these two were my favorite cards as well.  The next HSN show will be in OCT.  I will let everyone know the date when we have it.  As for now we have a little bit of down time.   This is the line up of how the wall as it was being put up. Not great pictures but there they are right behind Adams Head....LOL Here is a better picture so you can see.  I also added these to the watch party and everyone loved them as well. I did have a couple of people who suggested that this card should have been put into a frame.  I agree this would have looked great in a frame. Just wanted to give you a look at the Spectrum Noir Sketch watercolor pad.  I did a summer page and labeled it Warm Thoughts.  These pages can be colored with the watercolor makers or the watercolor pencils, for this page I used the pencils with a great out come. Just one thing to remember you do not have to be a card maker to enjoy this.  You can color these and frame them for great framed art work and or gifts. This is part of the Today's Special on Aug 16th on HSN , and is also on Auto Ship.  If you are looking to start with watercolors this is going to be a great deal for you.  You will get everything you need to start plus some.  I suggest if you are thinking about getting Auto ship do it, that way you have it coming and if you decide to cancel you can, but you will have that great price locked in. It has been a while seen I entered a card into Simon Says Challenges , so here we go this will be entered in to this Wednesday's Challenge Splatter it .  I had so much fun with this card.  I took Photo pape r and Rangers Alcohol inks and just did drops in different colors all over the photo paper and let dry.  Once this is completely dry go ahead and use this as you back ground color and just start decorating.  I took a Happy Birthday Bunny from Crafter's Companion , colored with my Spectrum Noir Alcohol markers , and Crafter's Companion Luxury Card Stock for the layering.  Very easy card love doing because there was coloring involved which is one of my favorite things. Hey everyone and welcome back.  I just wanted to let everyone know that the July 11th's HSN was a big hit for sure, and I must let you all know that TWO of my card aired.....YAY......HAPPY DANCE......  This card turned out beautiful it is the one that I did the back ground on video you can go back and watch, it was the last posting This one only got 1/2 of a showing but thats ok I'll take it...... Now just a small note HSN is having another Crafting Event on August 16th so turn in.....

Update:  The Explore, Adventure, and Memories card was shown on HSN . https://www.facebook.com/bob.ambrose.10/videos/vb.1553059076/10213385120853150/?type=3&theater I love Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pens, the pens are great for coloring, making backgrounds for your cards ( which I will be demonstrating ), or just adding a glittery sparkle to your crafts.  These are probably the most used items in my craft room.  They are used on most every card I do.  Money well spent and if you are interested remember HSN will have its Crafting Event on July 11 2017, so make sure to tune in, they may have a bundle deal?????? This is done with a Splatter technique.  Pick your colors and water color paper, make sure the ink is moving down into the brush and splatter the paper with as many colors as you like.  Caution, make sure you have paper towels around to catch the extra splatter that goes off of the card.  Grab a spray bottle of water and start t...
