Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pen ( Video ) ( Blending with water for Great Backgrounds )

Update:  The Explore, Adventure, and Memories card was shown on HSN.

I love Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pens, the pens are great for coloring, making backgrounds for your cards ( which I will be demonstrating ), or just adding a glittery sparkle to your crafts.  These are probably the most used items in my craft room.  They are used on most every card I do.  Money well spent and if you are interested remember HSN will have its Crafting Event on July 11 2017, so make sure to tune in, they may have a bundle deal??????

This is done with a Splatter technique.  Pick your colors and water color paper, make sure the ink is moving down into the brush and splatter the paper with as many colors as you like.  Caution, make sure you have paper towels around to catch the extra splatter that goes off of the card.  Grab a spray bottle of water and start to spray the paper, the more you spray the more blending you will get.  The balloon stamp is from Sheena Time Traveler Collection.
See below, I have posted a video .

The same technique was done with this card, the only difference is I did not spray as much water onto the card, which gives it a confetti look, so you can control the look.  The thing I love the most about this technique is you can make any paper match with what any accessories you maybe using. No hunting for matching paper.   I used  Spectrum Aqua water color paper.  Enjoy the Video, and as always, if you have any questions please let me know.  Happy Crafting!!!!!

"Hebrews" Coffee Card ( Skipping Stones Design ) Oct 16th Blog Hop

Hi everyone and welcome to Skipping Stones Design's October blog hop.  For my card I have decided to use the Coffee stamp #2 .  I colored the coffee cup with Spectrum Noir Alcohol markers .  This is a Digi stamp so after printing I did wait 24hr before coloring with the Alcohol markers to make sure the ink is completely dry, so I do not have any mixing of the printer ink with the alcohol marker colors.  I had a great time creating this card.  Please scroll down for pictures, supplies (  link's ),  a how toooooo, and a tutorial at the end.  Make sure you visit the links below to see other cards made by Skipping Stones Design Team.  Please make sure to leave a comments on everyones creations, let them know how much you like the designs they have created. Working with the Gemini Apple Core Dies

Tips for sewing Apple Core Shapes.....  This will go on Sale on HSN January 24th., they will go fast make sure you get yours. 1st you will have one that will go sideways which is the Con-Caved Core and you will have one the will be long ways.   You always want the con-caved Apple Core on top when sewing together.   So my Con-caved apple core is the red strips, fold in half  and press a seam.  The yellow one fold in half long ways and press. Put right sides together and place the pressed seam on top one an other and pin.  This is very important to sew straight. Now match up and pin both outside corners.  The fabric will be buckled like the picture and that is fine.   It should look like this when taking to the sewing machine.  Below is a little video on sewing Apple Core Shapes.

Monday Simon Says Challenge: Transport It

Monday Simon Says Card Challenge : Transport It I have a go fly away card with a Hot Air Ballon:  I started with white back card stock.  Top black card stock I use Gesso   with water added, took a paint brush and splatter the white spots to make it look like a Galaxy. Let dry I then took a circle & die to make this a shaker card.  I then placed the Hot air Balloon stamp with black ink and added glitter for the string and colored with Spectrum Noir Pens . Love the way this turned out.  This card is entered in the         Simon Say Monday Card Challenge Stamp Set used and Dies          jillibean Clear Stamp:Fly Away Gesso for Galaxy                      Gesso
