Happy Crafting with Lisa

Just wanted to take a minute and show you a card that I did today.  It is a Congratulations card for someone who is expecting.  I will be seeing her tomorrow and just kind of put this together really quick.  Well let me tell you it turned out great and I Love it.  Something quick can be really great.  I kinda of think the quick things we do turn out better than the ones we plan and take forever on.  So the next time you go to make something don't over think it just do it.   Happy Crafting......

Well it has been a couple of weeks, I had my Carpel Tunnel surgery on May 12th.  I just got the cast off on May 23rd and I have to say my hand is still pretty weak.  Now it has been a long 2 week because if you remember we had HSN's 24 hour craft event on May 8th and I received all my goodies while in the cast, so I to put it aside until cast came off ( was driving me CraZy ).  Below is just some of the items that I ordered from HSN .  Well I have finished my 1st card since the surgery and if I do say so myself it was worth the wait, and I have come to know that you are only as good as the products that you work with.  From the HSN crafting event one of the items I purchased was the  Crafter's Companion 3D Embossing Folders Set with Stamps, Cards and Rock-a-Blocks 542-657  Bundle for a great price.  This is what I used for my card.   Crafters Companion Luxury Card Stock Gemini Die Cutting and Embossing Machine   I have to say if  you do not have this machine

This is a Mother's Day Card that is being entered into Simon Says Wednesday Challenge ( Hit of Pink ).  I did the coloring on this one with Recollections Watercolor Crayons which I have to say are very nice to work with.  They have a creamy texture.  As you can see it gives a shiny look, loving it.  This was a very easy card to do.  The flower stamp is embossed with White Embossing powder.   The Happy Mothers day is done with Pink Embossing Powder . The Flowers are colored with the Recollections Watercolor Crayons Pink .  Like I said a very easy card.  If you have any questions please let me know and Happy Crafting.
