Tips for sewing Apple Core Shapes.....  This will go on Sale on HSN January 24th., they will go fast make sure you get yours. 1st you will have one that will go sideways which is the Con-Caved Core and you will have one the will be long ways.   You always want the con-caved Apple Core on top when sewing together.   So my Con-caved apple core is the red strips, fold in half  and press a seam.  The yellow one fold in half long ways and press. Put right sides together and place the pressed seam on top one an other and pin.  This is very important to sew straight. Now match up and pin both outside corners.  The fabric will be buckled like the picture and that is fine.   It should look like this when taking to the sewing machine.  Below is a little video on sewing Apple Core Shapes.

Hi everyone, I know it has been a little while but I have been non stop working on some Threaders by Crafters Companion sewing items and rearranging my craft room so needless to say I have been just a little busy....!  I would like to show you all what I have been working on for Threaders and  HSN,  so if you saw some of the items on air and you could not decide to pick them up at that time here is a little recap. Let me start off by saying if you ever wanted to try quilting this item could not make it any easier.  This will save you so much time on cutting you material it is crazy. Materials : 13 x 14 inch of Black Material for the front 14 x 14 inch of Black Material for the back Crafter's Companion Country Cottage Strip roll Matching Thread Sewing Machine  1. Take the strip roll and fold in half and iron 2. Take each of the strips and cut to 13 inches in width then sew to the 13 x 14 black front. You can leave as much space between as you like just make sure you sew each one the same. 3. When finished sewing the strips on the front even up the 13 x 14 square. 4. Take the back of the black fabric and cut to to 9x14 and the other 5x14. 5. Take the 9x14 and fold one end 1/4 iron and then fold another 1/4 and iron, then you will sew. 6. Take the 5x14 and do the same as in step 5.  This will keep the opening from fraying.  7. Now you will have a 13 x 14 front and an 8.50 x 14 back and another 4.50 x 14 back. 8. With right side together lay on top an sew completely around the square to close on all sides.  This will leave a

Hello again crafty Friends, I have been working on some Secret items that will be coming to HSN on April 10th .  These are new items and I am positive you are going to love them.  When ordering you will need to do it fast because I am positive these will sell out.  These little beauties come with everything needed to completed each projects and they are great for beginners even if you are just learning to sew.  The directions are well written easy to understand and Threaders even has videos to follow along with.  These are my finished projects.  They are awesome!!!!!!!! Hello crafty friends,  I have an Anniversary Cards to share with you today. This card will also be entered into the Simon Says Wednesday anything goes challenge. Happy Anniversary Card.  I used 6x6 white card stock for the card base. I then added a 6x6 grey card stock as layer one with Happy Anniversary written out by the Cricut Machine.   I then used Simple Stories 6x6 Sunshine & Happiness Pad as the top layer with the Diesire Create-A-Card Love is in the Air Metal Die .  This card looks complicated but it is a very fast make and easy, great for beginners.
